About Inspired Native Designz (IND)
Inspired Native Designz (IND) was founded through a desire to celebrate culture, identity, and community through meaningful streetwear. What began as a creative outlet soon grew into a brand that encourages people to wear designs with purpose—each piece telling a story inspired by Māori culture, lived experiences, and the people who proudly wear them.
IND grew alongside The Native Tribe (TNT), an online community established on 1 July 2022 by NativeQueendom and Inspired Designz. As the community expanded, so did the vision for creating apparel that represented belonging, resilience, and cultural pride. Rather than simply selling clothing, IND was created to help people wear their story, spark conversations, and strengthen connections within whānau and the wider community.
Today, Inspired Native Designz is more than a streetwear brand. It is a platform that brings people together through authentic storytelling, original Māori-inspired designs, and a commitment to creating apparel that reflects identity, confidence, and unity across Aotearoa and beyond.
